Bangkok is a sprawling, electric megacity where street-food carts sit beneath skytrain lines and rooftop bars, and you can live large or lean depending on your block. It's a top nomad hub with cheap, excellent food, modern malls and hospitals, and an international airport that connects everywhere. The tradeoffs are serious traffic and pollution, sticky heat, and a chaotic energy that wears some people down. Best for remote workers and city people who want affordable big-city life with endless food and nightlife.
